Flaw Found in Google Desktop Search:

A glitch discovered in Google's desktop search program could permit an attacker to secretly search the contents of a computer. The vulnerability is called a 'composition flaw' -- a security weakness that emerges when separate components interact. Google responded quickly to the alert, say the researchers, and began releasing a corrected version of the program. "
