Watching the media

Blogs are keeping the (mostly American) media on their toes. Watchdog blogs are becoming the norm.
They watch the media in general (e.g., CJR Campaign Desk) and individually (e.g., ChronWatch).

Now there is a site that watches newspapers for factual errors: Regret the Error
They say they want to: "report on corrections, retractions, clarifications, and trends regarding accuracy and honesty in North American media."

In Sweden we don't have a lot of fact-checking blogs, the few we have are quite partisan (e.g., Stockholm Spectator or TT-Kritik) but hopefully more will come.
The partisanship is not really an issue if there is a balance of blogging power, but for the moment the left is conspicuously absent from the scene.
