Journalism education and tips for journalists

I like weekends, I get a chance to read a little. And my weekend paper of choice (and I mean *on* paper) is the Weekend Financial Times.
There is always something interesting, surprising and often irritating in there.
In this weeks edition there is a very good portrait of Karl Rove, the usually good book reviews and my two favorite columnists: sports writer Simon Kuper- a sportswriter with acumen, ethics, and a great turn of phrase. (His piece on why England must draw the line at playing in Zimbabwe is an example.) and technology writer Jonathan Margolis.
The news is seldom too sharply angled and the editorials always interesting though almost always wrong *S*
